Raw milk is normally not homogenized and this is the most powerful advantage over normal diary milk because the fat is not likely to pass direct in the blood.
It also has more germs than pasteurized milk, which should be taken into consideration by feeding babies and it has to be consumed immideatly
I was fed with raw milk and did not have any problems with it.

Raw milk is the best food that a person can eat (or even drink). It build health. Pasteurized milk does not.

"Dark Ages"...my parents and everyone they knew drank raw milk. Both lived to be in their late 90's. If by Dark Ages, you mean the people of America's "Greatest Generation", then your view of dark is simply one that most rational people would not share.

Prohibitionists have always been murderous parasites: In 1926, during alcohol prohibition, the federal government began a campaign of deliberately poisoning vats of liquor with kerosene, gasoline, benzene, cadmium, iodine, zinc, mercury salts, nicotine, ether, formaldehyde, chloroform, camphor, carbolic acid, quinine, acetone, methanol, and several other deadly toxins. Estimates place the body count above 10,000.

    * Illegal Drug Cartels cannot operate without the support of politicians, bureaucrats, and police officers.

    * Keeping various psychoactive plants and their derivatives illegal and unregulated means robberies, home invasions, murders, broken families, shattered lives—all mostly done by law enforcement agencies. Add to that list: environmental devastation, poisoning of lands, streams and wildlife—all preventable by regulated legalization.

    * Prohibition has been a slow but relentless degradation (death by a zillion cuts) of all our cherished national and international institutions that will leave us crippled for numerous generations.

    * The US federal government is now the most dangerous and corrupt corporation on the planet; it is solely comprised of traitorous, lying hucksters who spy on us—in the MPICIC (military/police industrial corporate intelligence complex), the 99% are all probable suspects.

    * In 1989, The Kerry Committee found that the United States Department of State had made payments to drug-traffickers. Concluding, that even members of the U.S. State Department, themselves, were involved in drug trafficking. Some of the payments were made even after the traffickers had been indicted by federal law enforcement agencies - or even while these traffickers were under active investigation by these same agencies.

    * The involvement of the CIA in running Heroin from Vietnam, Southeast Asia and Afghanistan, and Cocaine from Central America, has been well documented, by the 1989 Kerry Committee report, academic researchers Alfred McCoy and Peter Dale Scott and the Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Gary Webb.

    * The United States jails a larger percentage of it's own citizens than any other country in the world, including those run by all the other worst totalitarian regimes, yet it has far higher use & addiction rates than most other countries.

    * As with torture, prohibition is a grievous crime against humanity. If you support it, or even simply tolerate it by looking the other way while others commit it, you are an accessory to a very serious moral transgression against humanity.

    * The United States re-legalized certain drug use in 1933. The drug was alcohol, and the 21st amendment re-legalized its production, distribution and sale. Both alcohol consumption and violent crime dropped immediately as a result. And very soon after, the American economy climbed out of that same prohibition engendered abyss into which it had foolishly fallen.

  • Wisconsin Citizens Speak Out about Raw Milk   5 years 22 weeks ago

the only reason people had to start pasteurizing milk in the first place is because of the industrial revolution. The cows were treated as machines and not animals, and were in extremely poor living conditions, making the cows sick, and the milk unsafe to drink. If your cows are cared for properly you don't have to worry about getting sick from raw milk. You just have to know your farmer and how the cows are raised. There is no way in the world i would drink raw milk from any of the farmers around here. And besides, if you can smoke and drink and chew tobacco, shouldn't you be able to choose the type of milk you want? If its not hurting you then let it be.

  • Wisconsin Citizens Speak Out about Raw Milk   5 years 23 weeks ago

"and ensure that the milk meets the same quality standards as Grade A milk. The farms will NEVER be able to comply with this strict standard unless they test at least twice every milking like modern, clean, safer, more regulated milk plants are subject to!

This guy is not very smart (Representative Chris Danou (D-Trempeauleau) spoke in favor of the bill: "This is exactly the kind of thing we want to encourage in rural Wisconsin: farmers adding value to their own product, getting their neighbors involved in the business," he said.) Apparently this representative doesn't understand basic food science practices or have any understanding of how important the real legitimate dairy industry is to Wisconsin.

What is the situation here, that dairy farmers that want to sell milk can't buy a pasteurizer? Baloney, they can buy one they just don't want to. The don't care about their customers safety or health! They just want the fast buck in selling a dangerous product.

The practice of selling raw milk to the general public discontinued with the invention of the more modern "miracle" food science processing technology called pasteurization was implemented. The reason, because people, as much as 25% of all food related illness before pasteurization came from raw dairy milk.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to take us back to the dark ages of sickness, illness and even in extreme cases, death? Where has the common sense in our society gone?

Wisconsin has built a reputation of being the dairy state, much of the economy is based on this industry, why would you want to jeopardize it and allow the sale of raw milk? Any consumer that wants to drink raw milk have an option, go buy a cow, keep it on a farm, (rent space) and travel there to get your milk.

Claims raw milk has some special properties and is healthier than milk that has been pasteurized is pure baloney and hogwash. The dairy farmer that spouts this kind of nonsense is trying to rip you off, they are modern day snake oil salesmen. Just wondering if the mining company is paying the same back taxes (times the years in the program), fee's, etc for the 3600 acres if removed from the Managed Forest land as the rest of us would have to do. If they are getting a legislative break...so should the rest of us.

  • WI Senate Fast-Tracks Bill to Close Forest to Benefit Out-of-State Mining Firm   5 years 23 weeks ago

Wouldn't it have been more cost effective to remove the land from the Managed Forests Program and maintain it as private? They would only have to pay $477k in back taxes, plus be taxed going forward - it seems like it would take quite some time for this to outweigh the ongoing costs of the security company, but I don't know the tax rate vs the run rate for the security contractors to compare them.

Anyway, it sounds like the land shouldn't be in the managed forests program anyway, if they don't want anyone to have access to it and they plan to remove large swaths of the forest itself in order to do their pit mining.

"Zimmerman was clearly responding to the police dispatcher's directions ("which way is he running?"), as the dispatcher, Sean Noffke, testified in court.)

That's the longest stretch I've seen in ages. "Which way is he running?" is not a direction to do something, it's a question about a direction someone is running in. "Okay, we don't need you to do that" is a direction not to do something -- a direction Zimmerman didn't comply with.

...and American exceptionalism. You STILL believe that the US went to war to "free" people? Look up the Downing Street Memo which plainly talks about manufacturing the intel to fit their goals. Let us know how "freeing" the US did with the US-imposed UN sanctions against Iraq which murdered 3000 CHILDREN under the age of 5 a month for 10 years. That's a 9/11 a month of just children (only counting aged 5 and under). Maybe you mean freeing up the planet of their innocent souls, maybe?

  • ALECexposed: George Zimmerman's Criminal History Includes Alleged Violence and Temper (Audio and New Documents)   5 years 23 weeks ago

You have sifted facts to emphasize those that support your claims and ignored those that undermine them. I have set forth the sworn statements filed in court about past violence, including Zimmerman's. You have credited his claims that were never given under penalty of perjury or subject to cross-examination by the prosecutor. For example, you ignore that the officer you cite wrote as part of his investigation that Zimmerman should have been charged with second degree murder, based on his examination of the evidence and that Zimmerman's pursuit of Martin was the proximate cause of the fatal fight that ensued. You also ignore that the jury was specifically given the stand your ground instructions and that at least one juror specifically cited that instruction that was imposed by the NRA's changes to the law as central to the deliberations. You ignore the fact that prior law would have required that the jury be told that Zimmerman had a duty to retreat not a right to stand his ground.

  • ALECexposed: George Zimmerman's Criminal History Includes Alleged Violence and Temper (Audio and New Documents)   5 years 23 weeks ago

To state emphatically that Trayvon "clearly panicked" when the evidence is that he made a conscious decision, after four minutes, to return and confront Zimmerman, is to ignore the facts as we know them and leap to unwarranted assumptions.

Shiping Bao, the associate medical examiner who performed the rather sloppy autopsy on Martin and who was a hostile witness who claimed he remembered nothing about that autopsy that was not in his notes, and who changed his testimony on three counts, has been fired by Volusia County.

The truly expert forensic pathologist with 40 years experience, Dr. Vincent Di Maio, testified that Zimmerman's multiple head wounds were significant, enough to cause transient stunning (what we would call "seeing stars") and sufficient to lead Zimmerman to believe himself to be in grave danger. Four witnesses testified to Zimmerman's clearly broken nose. And Dennis Root, defensive use of force expert, testified that a fit and proficient fighter can rarely sustain as much as 30 seconds of domination, let alone the at least 40 seconds that unfit and "soft" Zimmerman endured before resorting to lethal force.

The evidence of that evening also suggests that Zimmerman was trying to avoid any confrontation, not actively seeking one. And the jury, after careful deliberation and consideration of all the evidence, determined that Zimmerman was "guilty" only of self-defense.

  • ALECexposed: George Zimmerman's Criminal History Includes Alleged Violence and Temper (Audio and New Documents)   5 years 23 weeks ago

My comments are based entirely on the facts, evidence, testimony and history of this incident and these people. Your bias could hardly be more evident, given what you've chosen to emphasize, what you've chosen to ignore, and the weight you assign to such things as claims in a domestic dispute (which are almost invariably exaggerated and unreliable, as the recent event with George and Shellie demonstrated).

I began my 18-month investigation into the Sanford shooting incident with a bias against anyone who would use a firearm to resolve a conflict, since I am a very vocal opponent of America's gun culture, concealed carry and stand your ground laws. But I allowed the facts to guide my conclusions, and those facts led to the same conclusion that the jury reached in trial: that Zimmerman was "guilty" of nothing more than protecting his own life after a long and brutal assault.

George Zimmerman is hardly a saint or a hero, and has had a checkered past that is probably not much different from that of most Americans. But he has been made the scapegoat for larger socio-political issues that were not involved in the shooting incident, such as racial profiling and vigilantism, and the Left has taken the role more typical of the Right in distorting an otherwise unremarkable incident to feed broader agendas.

  • ALECexposed: George Zimmerman's Criminal History Includes Alleged Violence and Temper (Audio and New Documents)   5 years 23 weeks ago

I quoted a respected medical journal in regard to the effects of marijuana use and you've chosen to ignore that, just as you've ignored the facts of the shooting incident in Sanford. Zimmerman was clearly responding to the police dispatcher's directions ("which way is he running?"), as the dispatcher, Sean Noffke, testified in court.

Zimmerman's statements in regard to that incident were determined to be honest and accurate, according to sworn testimony of the highly skeptical lead investigator, Chris Serino.

That you would accuse me, who has spent much of my six decades fighting for peace and social justice, of the "same mindset" as a predator, indicates just how far from reality your perceptions are.

  • ALECexposed: George Zimmerman's Criminal History Includes Alleged Violence and Temper (Audio and New Documents)   5 years 23 weeks ago

I am a smoker been smoking since I was 17 so I know for an ACTUAL FACT that cannabis DOES NOT cause panic and anxiety how ever crystal, coke and other harder dugs do so before you make your "bias" statement i suggest you really look at the big picture and not just one fake article the only way it will cause those problems is if the use has some kind of health problem other than that there's a 99.9% population and articles that says you and your "evidence" is wrong
