  • How Much Oil Is Really Spilling into the Gulf of Mexico?   13 years 50 weeks ago

Independent views are needed but what then?

BP has sucked many in our Federal Government in as co-stewards in this mess. Now the smirks from many of the Jerks in BP have got folks in the USA fuming. And the trickle down effect has finally got those in DC wondering what could be next? Maybe the loss of their jobs??????

Look at this plan pass it around to those in Oil and Gas for real then get some buy in and make BP stop the oil and gas before it is too late.

    Thursday, May 20, 2010

To all concerned about our future:
The following has been sent along to BP without a response. Yet today BP is stating they will try to do a similar thing but not in an oil field way of doing. That does not surprise me they have been doing things left handed and sideways since all this began.

I suggest for All that can --- pass this along to BP stressing on them to do the right thing this time ‘To stop the oil and gas from flowing into our Gulf of Mexico’.

What is at stake? Bret Hume FOX NEWS spin master said he could see No Oil. Got to watch the mainstream media propaganda spin masters they get their orders from the top of the heap.

Some might say Just take the scoundrels to court--- Which one and What day and When will they pay? If you think that way may you set back and think about who we are up against “The biggest buck folks in the human history, the Rockefellers and Rothschild’s” --- then think along those lines asking “Are we really sovereign people”?

    Wednesday, May 19, 2010

    Reuters,

The operators of Reuters must pass this along to the Rothschild’s who own Reuters as soon as possible. The games that some are playing at BP will in the end cause a ruckus too hard to mend. I proposed this plan a week ago the oil and gas could have been stopped by now. Yet the mum boo jumbo way this crisis is being handled in the USA is a fault of guilt’s that will go back and keep going back until trials are held and many responsible for the lacks found in their actions will put them in jails.
Many have not a clue yet I do.

To whom it must concern at BP

SUBJECT; Build install Overshot for riser

    PURPOSE; Kill the well

Should I have enough facts about the conditions where you are working, consider this: get a design ‘You have all the dimensions’ then get an overshot made to fit the top flange looking up where the riser was affixed.

Get 5,000 feet of heavy weight 7” or better casing loaded on board for the overshot to be attached.

The casing string should be arranged as this:
    1. On the bottom the overshot
    2. Next up 3 or more high pressure check valves to resist the flow of gas and fluids up to the rig installing.
    3. Next install 1 or more high-pressure pump out plugs to begin unloading the loss circulation material and heavy weight mud whatever that might be.
    4. When installing the casing fill the casing as needed with loss circulation material and heavy weight mud as best designed.
    5. Design a cut off charge to be used to separate the drill string from the riser with intent to have it fall away out of the overshot to be installed.

    6. Use the roves to set the charge off at the best time after installation of overshot is underway. Should it not fall away as expected then a grapple can be used to pull out of the way.
    7. After setting the overshot around the top flange the rubber goods installed will compress.
    8. Install cementing plugs as needed and begin pumping as needed.
    9. I believe the entire amounts of fluids and solids will go quickly into all exit points at this time.
    10. The cement should be pumped down to the setting ring.
    11. Should it not go down then close in ---- let set until cement has had time to dry.
    12. After that time ----to release the rig a charge could be set at the depth where cement is in the setting casing --- the remainder can be pulled up and hopefully the nightmare will be ended.
    GOOD LUCK

I have high hopes that the BOP SUB SEA WELL CONTROL SYSTEM IS STILL UP RIGHT.

Now, this is a good idea much better than the current plan that is NOT SANE or SOUND AT ALL ----NOW my thoughts and ideas are worthy of payment, please advise when we can come to terms. Generalized answer: Yes, Empire. No, regulation!

There will be no regulation of the Global Empire --- financial, ecological, social, military, legal or otherwise.

The Global corporate/financial/militarist Empire that controls 'our' country does not want, and will not suffer, regulation of any kind to get in its way!

  • This Is Going to Hurt: What Your Doctor Doesn't Say Can Cost You   13 years 50 weeks ago

This "doctor" is the perfect example of why healthcare is basically untouchable my a lot of people.
You are comparing a mechanic fixing my breaks because I casually asked him to check them with you charging for answering a patient's question with" I don't see nothing in your throat" ? Are you serious?
First of all, if I asked a mechanic to check my brakes, that is exactly what I expect him to do! I did not say Fix my brakes! I only asked him to check them!
Most mechanics do not even charge for checking the brakes since it is such an easy task and only requires a visual inspection. They do that because they are checking to see if they can get more business by finding bad brakes and then asking if they can go ahead and fix them.

You F*&%ing "doctors" don't ask patients if they want to get billed for every word that comes out of your mind. You just charge it because you think you are entitled.
That is wrong! Even if you charged extra for takin 2 minutes to look in someone's throat including asking them if there was something else, how can you justify the 100 dollars? People pay for a service not for your medical school. You are not God and in fact you're just another schmuck eager to fill up his bank account.
The fact is that you are out of control ( all of you docs) You should be required by law to justify your billing statements. Some of you asses don't even bother to explain. You just simply send a generic looking bill requesting payment for a total amount. I'm supposed to call and ask what i'm being charged for.
Thereis no accountability and no repercussion. Thats why we are where we are.
I find obscene for family doctors who are just a bunch of pill salesman to charge 100$ for 10 seconds worth of looking in somone's throat.
    Disgusting!

Because all three are just right-wing boogiemen with little-to-no presence in this country. Some eco-jerks buzzing whaling ships is no where near as devastating as a lunatic using explosives to attack government offices.

The aryan nation, the KKK, anti-government militias, and dangerous loners with explosives are real terrorist threats.

  • What If BP Were a Human Being?   13 years 50 weeks ago

'we're reasonably sure a human BP would not be a woman'

Because ... what ... women would never do such terrible things?

As if all evil things done by corporations are done solely by men? As if women are not equally capable of reeking destruction on the planet?

Drop the mild misandry-as-wry-humor act - it doesn't help the cause.

"How long will it be before we revoke the lawless privileges of corporations, before we limit their immunity, curtail their immortality, and rein in their immorality?"

Maybe this will happen when authors like this stop wasting everyone's time with what-if articles about if corporations are people. They are not. That means corporations are neither male or female (or transgender for that matter).

Corporations can never be human beings, as not only do they extend beyond gender, but beyond a single sentient being. I think in most societies, the laws governing them really fail to take this into true account. Recognizing, understanding, and communicating this is the first step in changing things. Next is define exactly kind of entity they are, understand how they differ from people and other entities, work to get our politicians to understand this meaning, analyze all current laws which apply, and to redesign/exempt the legal liabilities they are able to currently avoid.

This would include things like banning non-people entities from doing things like contributing to political campaigns and lobbying and so forth.

Pretty big set of tasks, eh? Therein lies the real and bigger problem. It isn't that people cannot solve it. It's that people don't really want to do the work that goes in to solving it.

I believe the only way to address corporations is by addressing the larger problem of getting people (that is sentient human beings) more involved in the political process. Nothing will change unless more people start paying attention to issues, start asking questions, and being vigilant till the questions are answered and the problems are solved.

  • How Much Oil Is Really Spilling into the Gulf of Mexico?   13 years 50 weeks ago

The deregulation of any corporate industry has been a known for the last 30 years. The Republican/Conservative philosophy of less or smaller government has just been one of catering to corporate greed and not enforcing the rules, in exchange for generous political contributions. Conscience? . . . . Oh,Never Mind !

Why does the United States government not use a torpedo injected with some type of hardening foam or siicone substance and shoot it in the pipe. I know they are very accurate with bombs now due to high technology. i know sealant like this exist, and it would have to have alot of force to go through the oil gushing out. I didn't know where to leave this information, but I'm going to send it to a couple of places since they were asking for suggestions.

    Dear Paul:
We were pushing for full audits of the fed and much, much more.

We decided to praise this breakthrough even though it was not as strong as we hoped, to gain a toe hold for additional oversight and watch-dogging of the unaccountable Fed.

  • Lessons from the Health Care Meltdown   13 years 51 weeks ago

There is greater problems forthcoming to America.
Big hospitals are shutting down and insurers are increasingly squeezing the fee schedules down by two ways: reject the claim right away first and allow payments for appeal process only which can delay some form of payments for as long as 90 days or push patients to pay higher co-pays making doctor visits prohibitive in nature.

Also, Congress and Obama have not done their jobs respect to current health care problems. Public option is needed in the US. By making private insurers to cover all the uninsured basically Obama and congress have handed the medicare money to private insurers... This is not solving a problem...this is taking from a deep pocket to give it to someone else.

Government has been complaining that Medicare cost is going up but is there any accountability of any funds from medicare funds being used for other purposes??? Also medicare is a fund paid almost 45 years ahead its start use date... But, Government claims there is enough funding to sustain medicare...

This seems very strange in my view....Where is the money anyhow...stop blaming doctors and patients let's start looking what government has done with our funds!

  • Organized Campaigns to Cyber-Bully Climate Scientists?   13 years 51 weeks ago

It's sad that some people have nothing better to do than spread tension and negativity... Unfortunately the cyber space gives access to communication to any nitwit who wants to express themselves, even if they know little or nothing about the topic they write about...

Well... I just mainly wanted to express disapointment and sympathy. The key is not to take it personally. Most of these commentators have no idea what they are talking about. You are the scientists and they are the bystanders who like to throw "rocks" at scientists - except you have a thick bullet point glass that does not let the rocks penetrate.

    It's not personal - it's only ignorance...

Gosh, no conspiracy theory here. I suspect that if we get hit by a meteor it’s going to be because of some clandestine plan by Bush and Cheney. Global warming was their fault right? Oh wait, now its global climate change…

The original proposal to have independent audits of the Fed was voted down.

The vote that passed which PR Watch reported on was a limited one time audit. That vote gave our representatives cover that they are fighting for us--bull!

The banks are winning as witnessed by the vote against the Kaufman-Brown amendment to break up the "to big too fail banks."

  • An Insider's View of the Spin about Elena Kagan, President Obama's Supreme Court Choice   13 years 51 weeks ago

    Dear Ms. Taliaferro:

You are absolutely correct, and I very much appreciate your pointing that out. I have corrected this and added some additional information. I once knew this but had focused on her experience in state politics and recalled her lack of prior federal judicial experience. I really appreciate your taking the time to write in and help improve our work! Lisa

I wish I had something constructive to add, but I don't. I feel powerless. I appreciate your emails and writings to keep me informed and help me to take action.

  • An Insider's View of the Spin about Elena Kagan, President Obama's Supreme Court Choice   13 years 51 weeks ago

Toward the end of the article you state that: "In contrast, Sandra Day O'Connor, who had no judicial experience, turned out to be more of a fair pragmatist than I have sometimes given her credit for."
While I don't think prior judicial experience should be considered a requirement for appointment to the Supreme Court, I believe this statement is incorrect. Sandra Day O'Connor did have prior judicial experience. She served on the Arizona Court of Appeals, and before that on the Maricopa County Superior Court.

  • How Much Oil Is Really Spilling into the Gulf of Mexico?   13 years 51 weeks ago

Thank you for the valuable information. I asked a friend this question, to my satisfaction, I found the answer from you updated reports on the oil spill; how many ounces of water is in the gulf, how many cubic inches is in the gulf?

One thousand seven hundred twenty-eight cubic inches equal one cubic foot. One cubic foot equals sixty-two and one-half pound of water.

    Are we safe?

    Thank you

Have you considered requiring commentators to give their names? Time is wasted skimming data from the anonymous. If a whistle-blower dials on, they will find a way to get their information to you.
