Toxic Sludge Is Good For You! book cover

CMD's landmark 1995 book, "Toxic Sludge is Good for You! Lies, Damn Lies and the Public Relations Industry," has made the top-ten must-read list of M. Broderick, a customer of Amazon.com. Broderick put the book on his list of "top ten books everyone should read." Forty-five customer reviews give Toxic Sludge an average rating of four and a half stars (out of five). Thirty-three reviewers give it a five-star rating. One reviewer commented that "This book has changed my view of the world." Several call it "eye opening." One said Toxic Sludge is Good for You was "one of the top five most important books in my lifetime." CMD's founder, John Stauber conceived of the book, and this watchdog group, while fighting PR spin and intimidation efforts from Monsanto. Increasing corporate influence and ever-stealthier lobbying and propaganda techniques make this book more relevant than ever. You can buy the book directly from CMD, or new copies are also available at Amazon from $8.21, and used copies are available for $4.72 and up. This book is an absolute must-read for PRWatch fans! Actually...

...It's not Amazon's Must-Read list, it's a "listmania" by a customer named M. Broderick ("mikebinok"). That's in pretty small type, but it's there, near the top.

He seems to have pretty good taste in reading, though.

Dear Mutternich:

Thanks for catching that. Anne corrected her note. Always appreciate your comments! Lisa
