The Hypocrits vs. Infidels war

I've been thinking about this (main) post, and on one hand I mean it, and on another I don't.

I do not mean to trivialize the American aggression involved in this war. The American government initiated it, with the 9/11 excuse.

I'm not sure who initiated the 9/11 attacks, but it appears to have had nothing to do with Iraq.

For us to attack Iraq because of 9/11 is probably something along the line of accusing Catholics for something the Baptists did.

These groups are pretty much totally unsimilar, and yet to an outsider who knows nothing of American culture, they might appear to both fall under the umbrella term of "Christian" and therefore be essentially the same.

Anyway I wanted to address this (main post above) because I do see a strange tendency (like some new "fad") among people sometimes to be careless about directing blame to the true source, where there is blame to be had.

Sometimes (in life) it can be relatively trivial as to where blame is directed. But often it is not at all trivial. And particularly depending on different human perspectives.

And the concept of "sharing blame" --- innocent among the guilty is often (if not always) totally absurd. In a worst scenario, the trend of sharing blame might result in not knowing whether to have a molester or a non-molester babysit one's children, if these sorts of ambiguities are fostered or tolerated. (Or any other examples of this sort of "fox guarding the chickens" type of thing.)

It is often very important to know where blame is to be directed because people do have their particular individual proclivities, and will have them the rest of their lives, no matter how sanctified they think they have become!
