Reclassifying documents
Anybody else see where the CIA is reclassifying documents that had previously been declassified? Wish I'd held onto the article from the NY Times. Apparently, the CIA started doing so under the Clinton Administration, but the pace speeded up under Bush.(Big surprise there!) This has left some researchers in a tenuous position. Some of them copied documents when they were declassified. Now, it is illegal to copy, or possess these documents. I think we may see a court case coming out of this.

Interesting to note that, although the Bush admin. has surely exhibited a penchant for secrecy, this program is being attributed to the CIA and other spy agencies.
