Make the Middle East a Truly Nuclear Free Region

If the international world really wants to stop nuclear proliferation in the Middle East they would put pressure on the State of Israel to disarm their nuclear weapons. How can the international community of nations say Iran cannot have nuclear weapons and Israel can? This is the epitome of hypocrisy of the western world that the Arab nations see today. On one hand if an Arab nation violates United Nations Resolutions they are sanctions and or invaded. On the other hand if the State of Israel violates United Nations Resolutions escalating the violence in the region they receive more United States military aid. Without major changes in United States-Israeli policies and actions in the region there will be no peace or security in the world. The Middle East arms race must end with the State of Israel following the path of Libya and South Africa in dismantling their nuclear weapons. Then and only then could a nuclear free Middle East be a possible reality. Otherwise you can expect more Islamic Middle Eastern nations trying to obtain nuclear weapons one way or another. The question the Israelis have to answer is for how long do they think they can be the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons. The Jewish people of Israel have to learn to become more and better diplomats and less of warriors in their pursuit of peace and security. Never before in world history have so few people gotten so much global attention stirring up so much resentment. The Israelis and United States have start working with the International community of nations for what is in the best interest of the people of the world. There is no way Israel or the United States could lose if they became more apart of the international community as an equal instead of standing it alone. The security of both nations would greatly improve with their improved relations with more nations around the world. Israel will be much more secured with more fiends than foes in the Middle East. The chances the State of Israel can remain the only nation in the Middle East with nuclear weapons for very long are slim to none over the course of time. This course will lead to World War III putting the whole world in more danger. On the other hand if Israel dismantled their nuclear weapons the whole world would unite to keep the Middle East nuclear free region. In this case the State of Israel would have new doors opening in the Middle East and around the world making them more secure than ever before. My Blog http://www.globalcrier.blogspot.com/

''Israel will be much more

''Israel will be much more secured with more fiends than foes in the Middle East.'' see above letter!!!! you meant friends mate

Your freudian slip gives you away here!! haha
We know who you dont like....dont pretend its anything else - why try to hide it with fancy? rhetoric?

You also gave yourself away ...

''Never before in world history have so few people gotten so much global attention stirring up so much resentment''

Ok, so what are you trying to say?. You are one of the perpertrators of resentment obviously, and its not the first time in history!!!This global resentment has always been the case thanks to people like you!!

And by the way I checked out your webblog - just incase I was imagining, and I got the proof I needed - your point of view is clearly outlined and very one sided.

Your argument is flawed

Pressuring Israel to disarm is a strawman. Afterall, there are no nukes in Israel, right?

Ah, one bull sires another.

Here are two statements upon which one might analyze this situation:
Statement Number One: "Israel has no nuclear weapons."
Statement Number Two: "Iran means Israel no harm, therefore Israel needs no nuclear weapons."

You see? Pretty simple isn't it? This is the nature of disengenuous statements such as yours. Intelligent people laugh at them and at those who offer them. Your comments are those of one who presents himself as a low level rhetorical hack.

The fact remains: Israel absolutely must retain its superiority in the middle-east if it is to survive. Neither the United States nor the International Community would attempt to compel Israel to do anything that would leave it vulnerable, specifically because the Arab countries would descend upon its neck with sabers.

You don't like that, so you post your prose, behind a very thin veil, hoping to influence the ignorant.

If you want to posit that the creation of the Israeli state was a crime and that it violates the laws of the very world goverment who founded it, why don't you make your argument like a man? It is not a bad argument but it has to live or die on its own merits.

It is always bad policy to patronize your audience; it is an even worse policy to treat them with contempt.

The obvious is always obvious; and, nothing is ever as it appears.

Israel believes it needs

Israel believes it needs nuclear weapons for its own
protection. On a very basic level, that's probably
correct. As more Arabic countries fall under the influence
of fundamentalism, Israel's position becomes more
tenuous. I don't believe that we're headed for World
War III. The concept of mutually assured destruction
will keep many in check, as will the probability of
getting bombed back into the Stone Age. A nuke free
Middle East is very idealistic. Just not realistic.

I certainly agree that

I certainly agree that Israel thinks it needs nuclear weapons- for the record, they say they don't have any- but I don't see why it *does* need them. You're talking about a tiny state the size of New Jersey with the 4th largest military in the world (behind US, Russia, China), and a larger and more advanced airforce than many NATO countries, versus mostly peasant armies using very old technology. Most countries in the region probably hate Israel, that's true, but is that because of the "influence of fundamentalism", or because they don't appreciate seeing their Palestinian brethren humiliated and brutalized on a daily basis for 39 years?

Beware the hypocracy of the Middle East

If the Arabic countries are so upset about "seeing
their Palestinian brethren humiliated and brutalized
on a daily basis for 39 years" why have they done
the same? The Palestinians have not been particularly
welcome anywhere. In some countries, they were mistreated.
Why is Israel responsible for the solution? And, just
to make the Israeli arguement, if they want to be
treated better, perhaps they should stop killing people.
