What is Sourcewatch

I know many would suggest to try and finde the answer to this question in reading the introduction and various other texts on Sourcewatch itself. I am actually looking for a more complex answer or better say answers to this question: As a Master student I am doing some ethnographic research in the area of new public spheres on the internet. I found Sourcewatch a very interesting example and would like to find out more about it, especially from and about the people that use it and how they reflect on their participation in making this site what it is. I appreciate your comments and apologise in advance for this perhaps rather unusual post.
