contrary to the facts ...

"A spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, Tracey Schmitt, attacked Gore's comments shortly after address. "Al Gore's incessant need to insert himself in the headline of the day ..." and AP writer Larry Margasak elected to repeat this biased and baseless allegation. http://www.commondreams.org/headlines06/0116-08.htm As stunned as I am by wondering who believes this ****, it is consistent with the steadily increasing Orwellian twist which has been applied to all reason and reality by this Bush mis-administration and Republican culture of corruption. Pretty soon the American people will have to realize that they are smarter than they are being pushed to be.

Comments

That's how the Bushitas operate.

This administration operates from the perspective of
"say it enough times and it becomes the truth." So
it has been with Saddam & 9/11, so it has been for
WMD's, etc. People start to believe it because it's
all they hear from most media. Most "everyday folks"
don't want to be bothered with such inconveniences as
having to think for themselves. They might miss
"American Idol." Are they stupid? Without a doubt,
some must be. Mostly, what they are is ignorant,
and content to be so.

important distinction

That's an important distinction, bass, between stupid and ignorant. Thanks.
