If this is true...?

I am wondering, it is stated that "today estimated at over 100,000 civilian deaths," in the book, but stats I've seen are 2600. This is quite a discrepancy. Could there be other discrepancies as misleading as this in a book about misleading people. :-)

Also, If it is public knowledge that the war manifested from a hoax (Some girls false testimony), why did Democrats support invading Iraq under Bush Jr.?
