I think there's very much undue hostility towards David Koch as an individual for being so heavily involved in politics, even though he seems to oppose a lot of the particularly cruel policies of the far right. I don't see him as being that much different than any other philanthropist, and certainly there's as much to criticize about Bill Gates or Sheldon Adelson, for example. Why is this one guy being singled out so often?
